ETI has developed the ThermaGuard, a system that monitors the temperature and power status of a building and reports it to the user by telephone.
The company says this is ideal for continuous monitoring of buildings for energy management. The ThermaGuard monitors temperature between –19.9 and +49.9°C. Its LCD screen indicates the date and time, current temperature, maximum and minimum temperature since last reset and current power status. It can store up to four 20-digit telephone numbers in its memory and will dial up each three times or until someone answers the call.
It is also possible to telephone the unit for a report.
