This unusual #buildingdoodle sketch is by Catherine Blaney of Coffey Architects and illustrates a cottage in Woolacombe, North Devon. The practice says: “This is one of a series of sketches that explore carefully curated views of key landscape features viewed from the site of the new house. In this instance, the two main features are the heritage coastline and an impressive slate rock outcrop – the latter being a striking visual reference to the site’s past life as a quarry.”
