Sketch of the week: Trellick Tower

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Ian McBride, Part 1 Architectural student at Chapman Taylor, as part of an internal competition titled “Towers”. He says: “I decided on Trellick Tower as it’s a fine example of modernist architecture in London, what I admire most is its unapologetic presence; this makes for a particularly captivating experience as one approaches the building. Many people regard the building as unattractive… I for one think it’s outright charming in its own respect and it couldn’t be better suited to its surroundings.”
