Sketch of the week: The Chilterns

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Chris Robinson, partner at Aldington Craig + Collinge. It is of an unusual residential construction planned for the Chilterns.

Robinson says: “This is a sketch to explain the design concept to the client for their new large house set in 14.5 acres in the Chilterns, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The design was conceived as a ‘stockade’ - a group of buildings around an external courtyard which is fully secure.”
