Sketch of the week: the Burj Khalifa

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by John Gouldsmith at Probyn Miers, and shows the Burj Khalifa tucked in behind high rise Dubai. He says: “The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, but even so, viewed from the 40th floor of a building near Emirates Towers metro station, it has to compete with the rest of high rise Dubai for prominence. I like to draw what I see, as by the act of sketching one learns something.”
