Sketch of the week: library concept

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by structural engineer Nirlep Chhabra at SJIL. Drawn as preliminary library concept, he says: “The structural design of the building represents a book that is open. An architectural feature, oculus, has been provided to provide natural sunlight for the the spiral stairway connecting the various floors within the building. The orientation of the building would be north-south, to utilize maximum natural sunlight for the east and west wings of the building.”
