Sketch of the week: King’s Cross redevelopment, London

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Sally Taylor, architectural assistant at Jestico + Whiles. 

She says: “From this secluded setting in the King’s Cross redevelopment, a glimpse of the ongoing construction is evident from the crane in the distance. I used a fine black pen to capture the scene, which includes one of three recently developed cast iron gas holder frames. The pathway through the softer landscaping in the foreground leads to the canalside, where industries once lined the banks.”
