Sketch of the week: Greenaways

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Hannah Smart, urban design associate at practice West Waddy ADP, and shows Greenaways, a residential project in the hamlet of Boars Hill, Oxfordshire. The house was designed by the firm’s architectural team but the sketch was done by Smart to promote Oxfordshire Art Weeks (www.artweeks.org). Smart says: “Set in Oxfordshire’s green belt, on a sloping terraced site with beautiful views over mature woodland, this family home is at one with its landscape – bringing the outside in and the inside out. The living areas associated with this unique house are all on the upper floor maximising light, views and a sense of space.”
