This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Pedro Alves, an artist at Broadway Malyan’s Lisbon studio. He says: “[This is] the Forum Mall in Mysore (Mysuru), India, which opened to the public last week. The firm was commissioned by Prestige Group to design the interior fit out and exterior facade of the 54,000m2 mall. The interior design, as shown in this early sketch, was inspired by local culture including celebrations such as the Dasara and Holi festivals, landmarks such as Mysore Palace, and textures and materials.”
