Sketch of the week: Fishing pavilion

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by James Potter, partner at Waind Gohil + Potter Architects. The sketch shows a fishing pavilion currently on-site at Farlows Lake in Buckinghamshire, one of the UK’s top carp fisheries. Waind Gohil + Potter says: “The design is largely a prefabricated modular single-storey timber structure that combines a natural and raw aesthetic approach with sophisticated detailing: a structure that will integrate into the surrounding trees and green belt.”
