This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Simon North, director at Cal Architects. The sketch shows part of a design for the redevelopment of a brownfield industrial site into 70 new-build Passivhaus family homes and apartments.

The development fronts the Leeds-Liverpool canal. North said: “The scheme has been developed over 2015 working closely with the developer and Leeds City planners to deliver a successful scheme on what is a very difficult site.”

The project is due to be determined shortly.
