This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by project architect Ross Perkin of Feilden Fowles
This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch shows the Bretton Country Park Visitor Centre, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and is by project architect Ross Perkin of Feilden Fowles. He says: “Embedded in the hillside within a former gritstone quarry, the building has a low profile to protect it from the nearby motorway and forms a sheltered, sunken south-west facing terrace with views across the park towards Lower Lake and Bretton Hall. It comprises a 140m2 restaurant, a 1252 gallery space, an 80m2 public foyer and a 50m2 shop.”
