This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by architect Benjamin Wall at LSI Architects and shows part of London’s Barbican Centre.

He says: “We have a studio sketch club every Friday lunch time. The drawing looked to contrast the people taking lunch and the planting against the massive scale of the estate, with Shakespeare tower and Frobisher Crescent framing Defoe House beyond. We often use the Barbican for our sketch club; its size, complexity and the play of light against each element results in someone finding something new each time.”
