Sketch of the week: Astana storyboard

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Mike Oades, director with Atomik Architecture. The storyboard was for a recent TEDx conference talk the firm did in Kazakhstan. The theme of the day was ‘How big is big’. Mike says: “The focus of our talk was the city of Astana. We posed the question, ‘Is Astana a postcard experience, or a city for living in?’ I illustrated the talk with case studies from Germany, Oman and the work of a new generation of emerging Kazakh designers.”
