• A study published by waste and resources body Wrap has provided evidence that foamed concrete mixes using recycled and secondary aggregates offer comparable characteristics and levels of performance to those using primary material.
• The Carbon Trust is launching the Energy Efficiency Loans scheme. The initiative offers small and medium-sized firms interest-free loans to replace or upgrade existing equipment with more energy efficient versions.
