Arcelor Mittal has introduced its Recif range of louvred metal cladding for facades in the UK
Developed to help designers meet solar shading and ventilation requirements, it mimics the appearance of louvres but, claims the company, is more cost effective to specify and install since the eight louvres on each 500 x 8,000mm panel do not have to be fabricated or installed separately. Fabricated in Arval’s Colorissime range of painted and stainless steel and aluminium, the sheets are also available in three degrees of perforation – perforated throughout, perforated on the 78mm viewable face of the louvre or on the 18mm/42mm step.
