Sprightly 72 year old elder statesmen of British architecture confirms that he will appear in next series of reality dance-offs
Norman Foster has confirmed that he will feature in the fifth series of the BBC’s reality TV series come dance with me.
The 72 year old architect has dismissed claims that he is too old too take part citing other older competitors in past series including Jimmy Tarbuck and Stephanie Beacham. He also claims that his lifelong passion for ballroom, salsa and modern interpretive dance will give him an edge over other competitors.
A BBC spokesperson said they were “delighted” to have Lord Foster onboard for what promised to be a series full of “unusual choices” for the weekly talent show.
Series 5 of Strictly Come Dancing will air in September
