Zumtobel has launched the BEGA 7785, a lighting bollard that also doubles up as a seat

The bollard features a 400mm square footprint that uses just one high performance metal halide lamp to provide symmetrical ground illumination on all four sides.

At 460mm high it is the perfect height to double as convenient alfresco seat by day or night, while providing localised light for area illumination or route and boundary identification.

The bollard is manufactured from diecast aluminium alloy, aluminium and stainless steel and sits on a hot-dip galvanised steel mounting plate that is bolted into solid foundations. The 35W HIT technology lamp sits inside a cylindrical crystal glass lens which is protected to IP 65. This means that it is completely dust tight and can withstand direct jets of water.

The BEGA 7785 is available in graphite and silver finishes.
