Jewson’s are organising a competition to find the best tradesperson in Britain.
Jewson has launched its 2005 Builders from Heaven competition in a brave bid to counter the negative publicity generated by Builders from Hell-type TV programmes.
Skilled craftsmanship might not make gripping TV but Jewson says that the competition to find the tradesperson of the year will help shine the spotlight on the “thousands of great builders in the UK”.
Peter Hindle, managing director of Jewson, said: “UK builders are doing a great job and we want to support the skilled trademen who are out there providing a great service and quality work for their customers every day.”
Jewson, in conjunction with the Daily Mirror is looking for tradespeople who can show quality workmanship, reliability and the ability to complete work on time and in budget. If you know anybody that fits bill, entry forms are available on the Jewson web site below.
