Danish ventilation specialist XTP Design has brought out a motorised extractor unit for kitchens and bathrooms.

It is a circular design and has a choice of burnished or matt aluminium or copper caps. The company says the 15W motor can move 17 litres of air/second and generates very little noise. The unit is supplied with 1m long internal plastic pipes, which can be trimmed to suit the wall width. An optional timer is available and storm proofing and pollen filters can also be specified.
