Read on for a fresh perspective on some familiar issues as Building’s advisory panel of recent graduates guest edits this week’s magazine
We hear a lot from construction’s great and good – CEOs, directors and luminaries of the industry express their views at conferences, in publications and in the pages of this magazine. That’s as it should be – we have a lot to learn from those that have made it to the top.
But what about the people who are just starting out? We rarely get to hear about their experience, ideas or views. And yet this is the demographic that will be using the buildings the industry creates, and that it desperately needs to attract if it is to fill the ever-widening skills gap. They are construction’s future leaders.
So, Building magazine has invited its own advisory panel of recent graduates from across the industry to guest edit this issue: to explain what matters to them and what they think the industry needs to hear.
Read on for a fresh perspective on some familiar issues.
