James Jones and Screedflo have launched the Screedflo dB acoustic floor system to prevent noise transfer between party floors.
The system consists of resilient layers of high-density foam and fibreboard, onto which is poured fast-drying Screedflo Anhydrite screed. The company claims it surpasses Robust Detail acoustic performance, while providing a lightweight timber floor that has the solid feel of a concrete floor. Developed initially for use in timber-frame structures, Screedflo dB has also received TRADA Q-Mark certification for use in masonry and renovation projects. It is also certified for use with underfloor heating.
