OCS Security has become the first company in Britain to achieve the security industry’s new international “quality double” for its systems and guarding – ISO 901:2000.
While other firms have earned the coveted new industry quality mark for one of the services, OCS proudly claims to be the first to hold both.

The awards come after OCS unified its quality controls for guarding and systems into a single strategy and document.

However, both arms were assessed separately by the National Security Inspectorate which visited almost a dozen sites to ensure OCS’s standards were being implemented at the front line.

Mike Langley, OCS Security’s Resource Planning and IT Director said: “Getting these awards is so important. Increasingly security is about providing the best in both staff and systems, not either/or, and making them work together efficiently. We have taken a lead by bringing the quality systems we used for both guarding and systems together in a single document.”
