Fire detection

At the heart of the Sinteso range are the C-Line and S-Line fire detectors. The S-Line uses Siemens’ new and patented Advanced Signal Analysis technology, which Siemens claims ensures reliable responses to virtually all types of fire, irrespective of operating environment.

The technology allows the detector to be configured for the type of fire and environmental conditions expected in the space.

For example, if it is to be used in a harsh industrial environment where there are frequent deceptive environmental conditions such as dust, steam or welding fumes, the sensor can be programmed to account for these and thereby avoid false alarms. There is a range of stored parameter sets which users can choose from to match the environment.
