As preparations for SECURITY’S big night of the year step up a gear, judges have announced the shortlist for the industry's most prestigious awards event, the Security Excellence Awards 2006.

Companies and individuals will be competing for trophies at the glittering event at London's Hilton Hotel, Park Lane on October 11 2006.

This year's theme is "Destination Hollywood" and promises, as usual, to be a great evening out. But behind the party atmosphere there is the serious purpose of honour those companies and individuals who have demonstrated excellence during the last year.
