Kettering-based Failsafe Metering International Ltd has set a new benchmark for metering, mixing and dispensing equipment with its Puls-Meter technology.

Winner of the Manufacturing category at the recent Institution of Electrical Engineers Innovation in Engineering Awards competition, the Puls-Meter is the first and only system to quality assure the metering of liquids.

The Puls-Meter solves the performance variability problems that have long beset the designer and production engineer using single and two part epoxies, polyurethanes, silicones, acrylics, and polyesters in industries as diverse as aerospace, automotive and civil engineering.

Traditional pumping, metering and mixing equipment is vulnerable to variations in metered output leading to imprecise ratio mixing and output variation at the point of delivery.

Failsafe's Puls-Meter overcomes these problems by using an entirely novel electro-mechanical metering system which meters, mixes, monitors and records the volumetric output of single or multi-part liquids to the most exacting accuracy.

The Puls-Meter has far fewer moving parts than conventional metering equipment, cutting costs by reducing component wear and shortening maintenance downtime.
