A new double-sided loader is the third new product in a year from Exceldee, following recent cutting table launches
The new XLoaD automatic double-sided loader from Exceldee has been designed to work with glass processing machines from any manufacturer, and so can be supplied as a separate item. This machine can be static with one or two stations, or mobile on rails to choose between four or six racks. Exceldee also has options for dealing with racking methods which enable automatic loading of many different glass types in restricted areas.
The XLoaD takes the place of free fall operation and as well as improving the safety aspect it also saves time and labour, further integrating automatic glass processing within the factory. Sheets are transferred to the cutting table where they are automatically positioned and cut while the next sheet is loaded from the correct rack, with the operators only required to break and remove the sheets.
Exceldee’s glass processing machinery portfolio extends to glass cutting tables for stock sheet sizes up to jumbo, loading manually by free fall or by automatic loaders, with options for hydraulic tilt, conveyors, automatic sheet squaring, shape cutting and soft coat removal off the cutting machine.
Cutting table design
All cutting tables in the Exceldee range benefit from a cutting head which features a special floating piston design with lubricant pumped directly to the cutting wheel to produce better quality cuts and long wheel life. The tables also include Exceldee’s optimiser with shape options for CAD designs and importing DXF files.
Exceldee announces that it is enjoying continued steady growth based on its reputation for providing fast and efficient good quality machines at good value for money and good backup.
In the last year the company has introduced three new products, all designed and manufactured in-house. These are the X-Cut laminate cutting table, a new hydraulic tilt table and now the XLoaD double-sided loader.
