Two former staff members at London firm the Allen Stewart Partnership have set up their own new company.

Ian Bigham, a former director at Allen Stewart, and Karl Anderson, have formed the Bigham Anderson Partnership, which will specialise in cost consultancy in the office fit-out market.

Anderson, who was an associate at Allen Stewart before forming the new firm this month, said prospects were very positive. “The market is buoyant,” he said. “We have picked up several jobs already. We are quite confident of hitting our first year targets and expanding in the next year.”

Anderson stressed the company would be concentrating solely on cost consultancy. “There are not that many independent QSs in the (fit-out) market. A lot of the bigger firms also have project management arms. We are looking to capitalise on that.”
