CIBSE water series part 2: Water conservation – designing to save water

16 November, Balham, London

Part 2 in our CIBSE water series, this event will follow on from our event on 20 October on water conservation and reuse for engineers. Chaired by Martin Shouler of Arup, this unique event will focus on examining ways to conserve water through good design.

Delivering energy savings through variable-speed pumps

21 November, Balham, London

This event will examine the benefits of using variable-speed pumps and will show you how, if correctly designed, these systems have the potential to deliver worthwhile energy savings over the lifetime of a building.

Delegates will receive a complementary copy of the new CIBSE knowledge series publication Variable flow pipework systems, which explains how to design recirculating heating or cooling water systems incorporating variable speed pumps.

Achieving 10% renewables in design and practice: feasibility studies for engineers

28th November, Balham, London

Incorporating renewable energy sources into new buildings is not only beneficial in attempting to reduce carbon emissions. It is also becoming a planning and building regulations requirement. This event will examine the renewable energy technologies available to you and will give you expert advice on how to obtain grant support for renewable technologies, planning and delivery.
