European Machinery Sales Ltd of Lincoln announces that it has been appointed sole UK agent for Italian manufacturer RCN Engineering srl to handle its new range of laminating kilns and other products in the UK and Ireland.

These laminating kilns come with single mobile shelf sizes for the same glass dimensions. A four shelf kiln has been developed and will be available shortly.

A small laminating kiln of the same type as the above, namely the Lammy 120, wih a single shelf size of 1200mm x 2200mm will be on display at the GP&T exhibition at the NEC this month (previewed from page 48).

Superb results are obtained with these kilns when used in conjunction with EVA film, says European. This film, when correctly applied, has greater adhesive strength than PVB, does not suffer from edge deterioration normally associated with resin, does not de-laminate, turn yellow or generate bubbles and produces ‘near perfect’ transparency while requiring no special storage facilities.

Over 50 of these kilns, which are ideal for small to medium sized production, have already been sold in Europe, America and Canada, says the company.
