Stormking, the specialist GRP building products manufacturer, has recently developed a new, imposing trellis style porchway in conjunction with David Wilson Homes.

The new design was created for the Great Leighs site in Chelmsford to be in-keeping with the local environmental plan and to complement the house style. The design was then interpreted by Stormking and adapted to suit their production processes.

The result is an attractive and substantial feeling product which offers homeowners a long life, low maintenance, distinctive porchway which retains its airy feel. For the housebuilder the trellis porches are exceptionally easy to fix and come with all the benefits of prefabrication, says Stormking. There are no size disparities resulting from site assembly, no long-term storage requirements, no health and safety problems and the complete units are supplied to site by Stormking to predetermined delivery dates.

Stormking provided all the components for these lattice frameworks including canopies, sills, posts and feature brackets as well as the trellis itself.

In addition, Stormking supplied complete dormers ready for glazing, bespoke bay roofs and canopies, roofline fascias and portico roofs to complete the overall effect of the homes.
