Do you have supervisory or technical responsibility, and are you competent to exercise creative aptitudes and skills within defined fields of technology?

Are you involved in applying proven techniques and procedures to the solution of practical engineering problems?

Do you contribute to the design, development, manufacture, commissioning, operation or maintenance of products, equipment, processes or services?

Are you required to apply safe systems of work?

Do you have a BTEC NC/ND, NVQ3/SVQ or one of the following:

  • Approved qualification in engineering or construction at level 6 in the Scottish Qualifications and Credit Framework
  • City & Guilds Higher Professional Diploma in Engineering
  • Technical Certificate as part of an approved Advanced Modern Apprenticeship Programme
  • Approved work-based learning route
  • Individually assessed qualifications in similar areas.
Apply for EngTech registration to demonstrate that your competence within the field of building services has fulfilled UK and international standards and to further fortify your professional status.

Applicants who do not hold any of the qualifications listed above may well be eligible for registration, but will be called to an interview as part of their assessment.
