Reflex has launched a new division aimed specifically at providing security for owners of large residential properties and high value holiday homes that may regularly be left unattended.

Following the recent launch of its package for small businesses, the company's latest venture shows its ability to move with the times, says MD, John Pye.

"What we have been doing for more than 15 years for major hotel chains, leisure brands and other major organisations now has relevance on a smaller scale too."

Converging technologies and the internet have brought access control and security services within the reach of smaller property owners, he said. "There are now more millionaires in the UK than ever before and the need to discreetly protect prestige properties and individuals has never been greater."

The new service would enable owners of holiday homes, in the UK and abroad, to view real time and recorded images of their property via the internet and for bigger homes Reflex can provide fully integrated security systems.

Reflex is starting its offering at £15 per month for a simple system for a small holiday home. The package includes a digital camera, remote monitoring capability and back to base maintenance in the UK.
