Emplas Window Systems Ltd has recently launched a new 2D Door Hinge, modified its One-piece Door Keep and made important modifications to its range of Defender Friction Hinges.

Working in conjunction with Profile 22, Emplas set about successfully designing a 2D Door Hinge that not only exceeds PAS24 door security requirements, but also complements the chamfered suite and the new fully sculptured suite of profiles.

The new stainless steel One-piece Door Keep is non-handed and suits the Safeware 7 high security multi-point lock. Locating alignment marks have been added to the lock and the keep, with the cam gate openings increased to 21mm.

Design enhancements have also been made to both the Defender and Defender Egress Friction Hinges to provide better performance.
