On 6 September the CIBSE CHP Group held the first of a series of site visits around the country demonstrating CHP. The first event in Edinburgh University was a sell-out, with over 120 attendees.

David Somerville, the Universities energy and sustainability manager showcased the new £12m installation of CHP and distributed energy, while Haydn Rees of Clarke Energy, sponsors of the event, explained the role of the manufacturer in designing, commissioning, installing and maintaining equipment.

The CHP group is one of the quickest growing and largest of the CIBSE groups.
