The ECA and the National Housing Federation (NHF) have signed an agreement to allow all Federation members to apply for free client associate membership of the ECA.

The agreement comes as part of a decision by both organisations to work together to benefit their members.

Director of the ECA, David Pollock said: “The ECA is the premier body in its sector, committed to the highest standards. The reputation of the NHF for quality and leadership is equally strong. The ECA looks forward to providing valuable mutual support, authoritative advice and information to NHF members.”

Elaine Walder, the NHF’s operations director, echoed Pollock’s comments adding: “We are delighted to be working with a high profile organisation such as the ECA on behalf of our members. This will serve to strengthen our commitment to maintaining the highest quality in affordable housing.”

As client associate members of the ECA, housing associations will benefit from access to a free technical helpline, health & safety advice, access to the members’ area of the ECA website and discounts on training courses.
