New venture will result in reduced database inclusion rates for ECA members

The ECA has announced a new partnership with Exor management services, which will offer new public sector business opportunities to ECA members.

Exor is an independent provider of accredited supplier purchasing databases for the public sector, with over 120 public sector authorities using its services. The partnership will enable ECA members to apply for inclusion on the Exor database at special rates. Additionally, once accredited, members will be offered spaces in their categories on the many databases currently being used by Exor clients.

Martin Wade, head of commercial contracts and legal at the ECA, said: "This is a logical extension of our policy to help reduce the overhead and costs of public sector engagement. We are confident that this new relationship will provide our members with many new business opportunities in a sector that spends £45 billion annually, and we encourage our members to apply to Exor at the discounted rates we have negotiated. This partnership provides a natural method to promote the standards achieved by our membership, and they deserve the commercial benefits that follow as a result."

Ian McKinnon, managing director for Exor commented: "We are delighted to agree this partnership deal with the ECA and we are confident we can utilise our profile in the public sector to increase the commercial opportunities available to those ECA members that choose to join us."
