The ECA education and training department has undergone rigorous training and come out successful in its quest to be a provider of City & Guilds industry qualifications.

Its new City & Guilds Centre status will enable it to offer the 2381 16th Edition Wiring Regulations Update and 2391 Inspection and Testing courses.

General manager of construction and engineering technology at City & Guilds, Charles Leigh, says: “We are pleased to be associated with the high standard of training provided by the ECA. This partnership will reinforce our joint commitment to meeting the education and training needs of the electrical industry.”

Director of the ECA, David Pollock, says: “We believe our education and training department is second to none within the industry and are very pleased to have achieved City & Guilds Centre status.”

Becoming a licensed City & Guilds Centre formalises the existing relationship that the association already has with the training body. Full details of currently scheduled City & Guilds training courses are published on the website www.eca.co.uk under education and training.
