QS and project management firm Dobson White Boulcott is on target to increase its turnover by 40% for the year to April 2006.

DWB is expecting its turnover to hit £1.6m for the period thanks to bigger projects.

The Covent Garden-based company has hired three people in the past 12 months, bringing its professional team to 16, and is looking to hire five more, resulting in plans to move to a bigger London office.

The firm's current major projects include the £22m Merchant's Academy in Bristol, and Rossington, a £19-20m voluntary agency school in Doncaster.

Richard Dobson, co-founder of the firm, said he was aiming for another 40% increase in turnover for 2006-7. He also plans to win more business in the commercial sector. At present 20% of DWB's work is private and 80% is public.
