Turner & Townsend is cost and project manager on the £6.5m redevelopment of a spire-tipped grade II listed building for Sheffield University.
The transformation of the Victorian wing of Jessop Hospital Sheffield into premises for the university’s School of Music has just won planning and listed-building consents. The scheme is designed by Carey Jones Architects and involves the refurbishment of
the building to create teaching and practice rooms. Robinson Lowe Francis is the planning supervisor, Buro Happold is the structural engineer and Operon is handling M&E.
