Devonport Royal Dockyard is undergoing a £450 million redevelopment to become a nuclear refit and refuelling base.
A special emc standard has been developed for the project to satisfy the safety needs of nuclear materials. TUV Product Service is providing the emc testing services to the m&e contractor James Scott of Glasgow. The current testing contract is scheduled for completion in November 2001, with HMS Vanguard expected to dock in February 2002.
