Electrical installations and their impact on fire performance
Following on from EMC’s successful online seminar on the new 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulation, don’t miss the latest webinar on the critical area of maintaining fire performance in buildings when carrying out electrical installations.
The webinar is produced in partnership with the Electrical Safety Council and is based around the Council's latest Best Practice Guide. It will give practical advice and guidance for designers and contractors involved in electrical installations where the electrical work requires the penetration of linings forming ceilings and walls. The guidance is aimed at preserving the fire separation between areas and the structural stability of the premises.
Three key industry speakers will examine the issues and put forward best practice:
Chairman: Andrew Brister, Editor, EMC
Mike Clark, Technical Director, Electrical Safety Council
Peter Jackman, Technical Director, International Fire Consultants Group
Beryl Menzies, Vice President, ABE
Following the presentations, viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions in a live Q&A session.
Broadcast Date: Monday December 8th 2008, 15.00 GMT
Duration: 45 minute presentation, 15 minute Q&A
