Don't mess: Lewisham council in south-east London has made Fiona Johnstone-Smith its first “graffitibuster”, a shop owner who is receiving council and police funding to clean up graffiti. Shop owners who wish to take part are issued with a £1600 cleaning kit. The kits are paid for by the local police from Communities Against Drugs funds.
