Urban Splash makes its debut in the project manager league table with a single contract win while, while QS and client rankings remain mostly unchanged
In this month's rankings of project managers, produced exclusively for QS News, the top three players from last month have held on to their positions. However, a surprise new entry - developer Urban Splash - has come in just below them.
Davis Langdon remains in the number one project management slot after last month replacing Gardiner & Theobald, which had been in pole position since we began publishing the rankings last year.
Davis Langdon has won 19 project management contracts in the 12 months to date, totalling just under £510m.
Turner & Townsend and Capita Symonds are still in respective second and third positions in the rankings, which are based on the value of work won in the past year.
However, Urban Splash has joined the league straight in at an impressive number four, with one project management contract worth £250m.
This has pushed Cyril Sweett down from fourth into fifth place, while G&T remains in sixth position.
The same names dominate the QS rankings, with Davis Langdon at the top, boasting 106 contracts won in the past year, totalling a massive £1.3bn.
G&T is in second place once again in the QS table, yet it has only won about half the work that Davis Langdon has during the period - 64 contracts worth a total of £643m.
In the client ranking, the Highways Agency continues to occupy the top spot, with Seascape Energy in second place and Leeds City Council third.
