Davis Langdon is planning to add building surveying and facilities management to its list of major services in Manchester and Liverpool.

It has hired Nick Chriscoli to head up building surveying in the Liverpool office as part of a plan to create a team of 10 building surveyors based at the branch.

The Manchester office already has five building surveyors and is looking to add more. The majority of their work is for Manchester City Council. Davis Langdon is on the council framework providing building surveying, project management and quantity surveying.

Andrew Stephenson, partner in the Liverpool office, said: "We are looking to add buildings surveying to the list of services on the back of our business cards." At present Davis Langdon business cards list project management, cost management, management consulting, legal support, specification consulting, engineering services and property tax and finance.
