Different strokes

With reference to the large number of complaints you received over the "swear word" on the cover of your July/August issue: what is the matter with these people? I wonder how your correspondents would get through a day on site displaying that pious attitude. One of the enjoyable things about this industry is the irreverent sense of humour and sharp wit apparent within it. I thought your cover was quite clever. It conveyed a clear message to people under daily pressure on the front line in a humorous way - lighten up.
