Whilst some manufacturers have simply relied upon economising on existing products, Denco have allocated considerable R&D resources together with over 40 years' experience towards achieving a state of the art approach to the particular cooling needs of the modern electronics environment.
Denco was founded in 1944 and has its headquarters in Hereford. It employs over 500 people in offices throughout the UK and at a manufacturing centre in Istanbul, Turkey. Denco manufactures, distributes, installs and maintains air conditioning and building services systems throughout industry and commerce.

The Toscana and Escana series of critical space coolers with capacities from 5 to 120kW form the backbone of the Denco range and represent the latest stage in the continuing evolution of Denco close control equipment. Whilst some manufacturers have simply relied upon economising on existing products, Denco have allocated considerable R&D resources together with over 40 years' experience towards achieving a state of the art approach to the particular cooling needs of the modern electronics environment.

Throughout the Denco range the Millennium controller provides the intelligence, driving the hardware towards identified targets of lower energy consumption and flexibility of application. Its intelligence also allows it to talk to most building management systems. Designed from scratch by Denco specifically for critical applications, a degree in software engineering is not required to operate Millennium.

Instead of simply regurgitating the "Greenwash" that is all too common in most modern product literature, Denco have made a firm commitment towards meeting environmental targets. Proven energy saving features such as variable refrigerant flow (VRF) and indirect free cooling have been designed into Toscana and Escana from the start, in order to bring down the costs associated with this technology.

Denco is also spearheading development of new technologies for delivering underfloor office air conditioning to both new and refurbished buildings.

Denco's Flexible Office System offers total design flexibility, as there are no horizontal pipes, ducts or cables to allow for and no wet installations under the floor or in the ceiling to worry about.

Energy costs are reduced because of the use of control technology that closely matches output to demand – a major consideration for users at a time when the Climate Change Levy is driving up fuel bills.

Occupants enjoy total flexibility of use with an underfloor system. Fan tiles can be moved within minutes to suit new layouts or if an occupant feels uncomfortable - users have a level of personal control over their local environment not possible with conventional air conditioning.
