Pupils from St Mary's Primary, Swinton, enjoyed a day out at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, in which CCTV specialists Dedicated Micros sponsored the celebrity gala concert headlined by Dame Shirley Bassey.
The schoolchildren took part in dance and music workshops with performers from across the globe. Dee Raynor, deputy headteacher at St Mary's, said: "We have always fostered an understanding of different cultures, religions and traditions and the International Eisteddfod was an excellent way for our pupils to experience them first hand."
