Decorex is a machine series for automatic application of functional or decorative accentrim tape.

The Decorex has been newly introduced to the European market by Cadram Ltd, working in cooperation with R&R Sondermaschinen GmbH. The machine is able to apply decorative tape such as Accentrim tape from 3M or lead tape from RegaLead to window panes.

While processing the Accentrim tape, which creates a glass cut effect, the machine can even independently lift the ‘butterflies’ in the intersections.

Mastering this process has been a major breakthrough in processing accentrim tape, says the company. A special reel has been developed to apply lead tape. The reel has a notably larger lead tape capacity to minimise set up time and make the operation of the machine more economical.

The machine is able to process several different tape varieties. The set up time for adjusting the machine to a different tape variety has been minimised.

The automatic application not only has a time saving advantage, it also has a superior quality to that of a manual application. Accurate repitition will be a definite door opener in this most lucrative market, says the manufacturer.
