The Deceuninck Group, Belgium, have recently been awarded the prestigious 2004 Ernst & Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award. Deceuninck was chosen as the overall winner from a selection of six finalists, short-listed from some 900 Flemish growth companies. These growth companies are a source of progress, growth and prosperity for Belgium.
Deceuninck were chosen to receive this award due to the company’s ‘innovative production methods that contribute to a striking expansion of the activities, which results in an impressive international growth.
‘Deceuninck constantly aspires to product innovation and efficiency improvement in purchasing and distribution’ explained the Chairman of the Jury team, Baron Paul Buysse.
A delighted Chairman, Arnold Deceuninck, and CEO, Clement De Meersman, received the trophy from HRH Prince Filip of Belgium in the presence of Prime Minister, Guy Verhofstadt.
Active in 32 countries, Deceuninck is a worldwide, integrated group specialising in all aspects of PVC-U systems and profiles for the building industry.
